LEPSE governance

LEPSE is headed by the Unit Director, Pierre MARTRE, who is supported by two Deputy Directors, Benoît PALLAS and Philippe BURGER.

The laboratory’s governance is based on three complementary bodies:

  • The Management Committee (MC), chaired by the Director, which supports the Director in defining and implementing the laboratory’s scientific and strategic priorities.
  • The Laboratory Technical Committee (CTL), chaired by Philippe Burger, which coordinates the technical activities of the unit. The CTL reviews and validates experimental schedules, conducts technology watch activities, and evaluates requests for new equipment and infrastructure investments.
  • The Unit Council, chaired by the Director, which brings together representatives of both permanent and non-permanent staff and serves as a forum for consultation, discussion, and communication on matters related to the life and development of the laboratory.

Together, these bodies ensure the effective management of the unit, the coordination of its scientific and technical resources, and the active involvement of the laboratory community in decision-making processes.
